I spent the first ten years of my career as a bedside nurse for premature and critically ill infants. I joined the Air National Guard as a nurse and trained for disaster response. We trained for hurricanes, nuclear disasters, terrorist attacks, and the like. I met a nurse anesthesiologist in the military, and decided that was what I wanted to go to graduate school for. I trained at Westminster and graduated in 2017, and I am now an adjunct professor there, teaching pharmacology to resident nurse anesthetists. I finished my doctorate of nursing anesthesia degree in 2025. Basically I have been at the bedside since I was 20 years old. I continue to work in a variety of environments, including at local hospitals, dental offices, plastics offices, and tattoo settings. I have the best job on the planet.

I joined Ironwood because I want to work with artists who are continually trying to improve their craft, improve the experience for their clients, and offer many different types of tattoo styles for clients to choose from. I want to be in an environment where growth of the person, the craft, and the art is the expectation. I want to help people have the experience they want when they hop into the chair. Again, I have the best job 

When I’m not working, I’m hanging out with my boys, 15 and 21, my husband, and my dogs. I love the water! Lakes, rivers, pools, don’t care. Give me a floatie and a cocktail and I’m pretty damn happy.
